Ferenc Gyurcsány changed his tune, this time addressing self-appointed intellectuals.

I have a disagreement with a group of intellectuals – wrote Ferenc Gyurcsany. The President of the Republic of Denmark revealed: with those who, simply because they excel in their profession and because their names resonate well with the wider public, think, appear and claim to be the people who say things even in the world of the universe called politics, without whose opinions they would express their opinions with the expected and required development of their profession.

I'm sorry, but why would a famous actor's opinion be more honest than that of my acquaintance who works as a day laborer in Koch?

Ferenc Gyurcsany asked the question.

According to him, intellectuals who enjoy playing the role of political commentators and playing to the public have never taken responsibility for anything. (Not in 2006, not in 2010, not in 2022, not in 2024, to name a few key years.) He does not name names, because that leads nowhere. He sees it this way: a few dozen intellectuals from Pest (Buda) want to define politics in a self-effacing way without taking any responsibility for their current position and its consequences, apart from the fact that they are making fun of us politicians in their circles.

Hungary has become an infected place.

– said the DK chief.

He doesn't want to dust off the above-mentioned intellectuals. Not even if he wanted to.
