In Europe and North America, the 488 Challenge Evo will be replaced by the Ferrari 296 Challenge early next year.

While the 2992 cc V6 produces around 600 hp in the GT3 series, strict restrictions do not apply here, so the 296 Challenger’s peak power reaches 700 hp, and with a specific output of 234 hp/L, it sets a new class record.

At the same time, the 296 Challenge designers also paid special attention to the aerodynamic package: the adjustable rear spoiler exerts a downforce of more than 870 kg on the rear axle in its most aggressive position at 250 km/h.

The new Ferrari racing car appeared on the scene, setting a world record on the eleventh day

ABS EVO Track, the improved version of the brake control on the 296 GTB, is also offered here. Special carbon ceramic brakes (CCM-R Plus) can not only provide greater braking power, but are also less prone to fatigue. The body kit is completed by uniquely developed Pirelli tires mounted on 19-inch wheels.

The world premiere of the Ferrari 296 Challenger is scheduled to take place on October 22, and the manufacturer is expected to announce the missing technical data then.
