EA Sports FIFA 22 has posted its Team of the Year on Twitter to play in Ultimate Team mode. To his great surprise, neither Mohamed Salah nor Cristiano Ronaldo were among the best.

Over the past week, millions of players have been able to vote on EA Sports FIFA around the world on which players to include in the Team of the Year. Out of a total of 80 players, the top 11 had to be selected.
In Ultimate Team, we’ve been playing the best of the year since FIFA 12, and for the first time in the game’s history, Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t made it to the Team of the Year.
It may also come as a surprise that Mohamed Salah hasn’t been on his strongest start either – his spot with the seven-time Ballon d’Or Lionel Messi is there. As for the strikers, in addition to the Argentine genius, there are Kylian Mbappe and Robert Lewandowski in the team.
The best in football, you decide.

By the way, Paris Saint-Germain has the largest number of players in the Team of the Year: in addition to Mbappe and Messi, Donnarumma, Hakimi and Marquinhos were also included.
Team of the Year players will be available in FUT packs starting Friday. For the first time, strikers – with great luck – can get hold of the packages, but it is likely that we will be able to meet virtual footballers worth millions of chips at auction in a few days.
