The camera footage below was released by the notorious Azov-based elite unit, the 3rd Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, on Saturday to liberate Andreyivka in the Donbass region.
The enemy was firing mortars and the mines were getting closer and closer. The soldiers of the assault brigade continued to pursue the enemy in the center of the battlefield – in a populated area filled with Russians
– they wrote next to the video.
In three days, Ukrainian forces achieved two important victories over the Russians around the strategically important Bahamut region, and also managed to capture Klyshchevka before Andrievka.
In his speech on Sunday evening, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky cited the 80th Air Assault Brigade, the 5th Assault Brigade, and the 95th Assault Brigade of the National Police among the Ukrainian formations that successfully attacked Klychchevka and Andreyevka. According to reports, the airborne unit, Storm-Z and Ahmat forces, intelligence service and motorized rifle units suffered heavy losses from the Russian side.
According to Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar, the Russians are trying to regain the two settlements, which they have controlled since January 2023, through counterattacks.
