Final Fantasy XVI can still get DLC | News block

Final Fantasy XVI producer Naoki Yoshida has suggested that the title may still receive some DLC after release, stating in a recent interview that the team is “considering” the possibilities.

Since the game’s release a few weeks ago, there have been many suggestions of DLC, such as the Leviathan-focused episode and the mysterious crystal to be discovered on Sanbreque that has no clear purpose. Yoshi-P previously said they wanted to tell a full story and had no plans for DLC, but the request may have changed things.

Yoshida recently gave an interview to GamerBraves and said:

You know, going into Final Fantasy XVI, the only thing we wanted to create was a complete story, something you could enjoy 100% from start to finish without any additional content, and I think we did that. But now we understand that we’re getting feedback from players who’ve played it and many want to see more, and we know that and we understand that. Based on this We are considering our additional optionsso we hope that we can give you everything in the near future.
