A sequel to Firewall: Zero Hour, originally designed for PSvVR, has been announced and will be coming exclusively to PS VR2.
First Contact Entertainment announceThey are already working on a complement to Firewall: Zero Hour, Firewall: Ultra. The sequel will come exclusively to Sony’s next generation VR headset, the PS VR2. The game will take full advantage of the new hardware capabilities, it will run in 4K, it will have HDR support, we will have a 110-degree field of view, plus eye tracking, finger touch detection, and refined rendering (using eye tracking makes them resource-efficient things that sitting on the edge of our peripherals), short load times, support for adaptive triggers, and haptic feedback will all be part of the game.
Firewall: Ultra will also have many maps from the first part, of course we will not have to give away new locations and agents, the developers are planning for the long term, so we will continue to receive new content even after the release. We can expect a deeper arsenal of weapons, equipment, and customization options, and it has also been confirmed that the game will have dedicated servers, as well as an all-new PvE game mode. A short teaser can be shown above, and we can expect more gameplay recordings soon.
