Carroll Shelby built the first Shelby GT500 Ford Mustang in 1967, and its 7.0-liter V8 engine was inspired by the racing block that gave Shelby a triple victory at Le Mans.
This legend, built fifty-four years ago, is now welcomed in the Mustang Shelby GT500 Heritage Edition, which will be available exclusively in Brittany Blue. Double bands are unavoidable, but customers are left to choose whether to order them in black, white, or white foil.
The technical content is the same as the 2022 Mustang Shelby GT500: a 5.2 supercharged V8 engine with a maximum output of 770 hp, a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, a maximum speed of 290 km/h.
Additional innovations enhance the Mustang range: one is a specially-designed convertible, the Ford Mustang Coastal Edition, built with unique visual details, and the other is the strong orange color, which is part of many Ford sports models (F-150 Raptor), Bronco Raptor, Ford GT) is now available for the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.
