According to the current situation, there will still be a Turkish Grand Prix in the 2021 Formula 1 season, with the sport’s leaders announcing that they will replace the Singapore Grand Prix with the Istanbul Grand Prix in early October.

The Turkish Grand Prix was once on the race calendar, in place of the Canadian Grand Prix on June 13, but after strict travel restrictions to Turkey due to the coronavirus that took effect in Britain, it was canceled instead. That is why it eventually became the double in Austria.

The Turks are going to hold a race anyway, so they’ve got a kick out of Singapore and hope they’ll have passed the coronavirus by the weekend of October 1-3.
Thus, the schedule again includes 23 races, with the Turkish Grand Prix entering the weekend between the Russian and Japanese races.
But the Japanese recently canceled their MotoGP, also scheduled for October, and there are plenty of drafts around the Olympics as well, so it wouldn’t be surprising if they canceled this year’s F1 race due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Brazilian and Australian Grand Prix, scheduled for November, are also uncertain, as according to Autosport magazine, a similar double weekend is scheduled for Austria in Austin, Texas.
