Four first places in the Judo Student Olympiad this weekend

Competitors from the PVSK judo division also competed in Mosonmagyarovar and Sopron over the weekend. The National Finals of the Judo Student Olympiad were held at these two locations.

Head coach Antal Kirsic had the following to say about Saturday's event.

On Saturday, judokas from students C, B, A and the teenage age group participated in the tatami. Seven hundred and seven competitors from ninety-two national associations tested their skills, with PVSK placing ninth in the overall results list. Although the students represent the 'colours' of their educational institutions at the event, their achievements here are also important to their clubs.

On Saturday, three Student Olympiad champions became champions in the student age group

first place:

Student A: Julia Radvansky +56 kg

Natalia Nagy Ilonzai -50 kg

Student B: Biborka Jarani +49 kg

the third place:

Student A Kelemen Antonia – 38 kg

Student B: Emese Szentpéteri -40 kg

Teenage: Flora Centipede -48 kg

Domjan Petr Buldisar – 73 kg

Fifth place:

Student “A” Group Csongor -42 kg

Seventh place:

Bendy locksmith -50 kg

The head coach also touched on Sunday's competition.

On Sunday, in Sopron, competitors in the youth age group competed in the Novomatic Arena. At the Student Olympics, one hundred and sixty-six competitors from fifty-four clubs participated in tatami, and PVSK finished second on the overall medal table with one gold, two silver and two bronze.

first place: Sarah Takács -63 kg

2nd place: Veronica Mag -57 kg

Tamas Bergel -60 kg

fourth place: Csapó-Jakabos Zétény -46 kg

Fifth place: Abel Takac -90 kg
