The minimum time limit function has been raised.
It is common knowledge that social media addiction is a growing problem worldwide, with a lot of criticism from the major platforms. To prevent attacks, Instagram has been voluntarily allowing users to limit their time in the app since 2018.
The feature available in the top-right menu My Activities > Time Spent > Set Daily Time Limit has so far triggered a maximum run of 10 minutes per day, but the company recently announced that the stricter option will now be removed.
Those who want to curb their instincts can no longer go under 30 minutes, followed by 45 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, and 3 hours.
