Like a monkey by its tail – Photography: Delphine Casimir / Wildlife Comedy 2023
We have this year’s finalists in the International Wildlife Comedy Photography Competition, and as in previous years, we’ve managed to capture some moments of the animal world that look quite funny to the human eye.
This award was founded in 2015 by professional photographers Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Solam. Anyone can apply for the award with photos depicting animals in funny poses, the point here is about the fun factor. This year’s judges include British celebrities such as broadcaster Kate Humble and comedian Hugh Dennis. An audience award called the People’s Choice Award is also given.
