All will be revealed in October.
Sometime in October, the 24th model in the Samsung Galaxy FE series will be less expensive, but at the same time reliably offer advanced features, which many leaked details have been announced about before. Android titlesAccordingly, the new Samsung smartphone will arrive with a 6.7-inch display, which will also have a larger battery than its predecessor. The device's chipset may also be updated, but the cameras will likely remain the same. It is also not difficult to predict that the S24 FE will receive a series of features thanks to AI improvements.
The enlarged display, the same as the one on the S23 Plus, will have a 120Hz refresh rate like its predecessor, and brightness will be improved to 1,900 nits. The battery is slightly larger compared to the previous series, from 4,500 mAh to 4,565 mAh. This is not a huge improvement, as the S24 Plus received a 4,900 mAh battery with the same screen size.
There are still speculations about the performance. Some expect the new device to get the Exynos 2400 processor with a Hussar cut. The leaked document mentions the Exynos 2400e name, but this could be a typo or even an improved version of the one used in the S24 series.
The Galaxy S24 FE is expected to retain the same camera setup as the Galaxy S23 FE. That means a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, an 8MP 3x optical zoom lens, and a 10MP selfie camera. While some may be disappointed by the lack of changes to the lineup, remember that the manufacturer also used this on the more expensive Galaxy Fold 6.
Finally, there’s a good chance they could boost the S24 FE with a series of AI improvements, from Portrait Studio to Circle Search to Live Translation. As for software, the device will likely come preinstalled with One UI 6.1.
The new model, which will arrive in mid-October, will be available in five different colors, and there is no news on its pricing yet.
