The 21-year-old, who bid farewell to Russian champion Andrei Rublev in the semi-finals, won the first title of his career after losing in the previous eight finals.
Auger-Alessem, ninth in the rankings for the Togo origins, didn’t have to pass any balls in the one-hour 16-minute encounter.
The Women’s Championship in Saint Petersburg was ranked second by Estonia Annette Kontaveit She beat Greek top seed Maria Sakr in the final match on Sunday.
The 26-year-old champion triumphed in the three-hour match, racking up five consecutive rebounds from 2:5 in the final set, and clinching his sixth title of his career, with seven finals lost.
Kontaveit and Zachary have clashed 13 times so far and the tennis player in Tallinn is currently leading 7-6.
