Gaza ceasefire: America feels nervous

US Vice President Kamala Harris called for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip for six weeks during a historic ceremony held in Alabama on Sunday.

“Given the unimaginable amount of suffering in Gaza, there must be an immediate ceasefire,” the Vice President said.

He added that a six-week ceasefire would allow time for the release of all hostages and the delivery of a large amount of aid supplies to those living in the Palestinian territories.

Kamala Harris said the Israeli government must do more to significantly increase aid to Gaza. He added, “There is no objection” to that.
