MiHoYo's free-to-play MMORPG will open up the desert region of Natlan to its players, thanks to a large-scale 5.0 update coming at the end of August.
In the upcoming 5.0 update called Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn, players will find themselves facing stunning landscapes. The miHoYo team has released two trailers of the desert region of Natlan, filled with majestic valleys and dotted with colorful oases, on the official Genshin Impact YouTube channel. In the first longer trailer, in addition to the arrival of new characters, story elements are also shown, and the imminent destruction of Natlan must be prevented.
Fontaine, who first appeared in 4.0, has been heavily present in water areas, so the journey to the world of fire and sand will be a big contrast and change – however, the new character, Mulaney, who slides on a shark, indicates that there will be enough water here too – where, based on the video, there will be a lot more action. In the second trailer, designed in an anime style, he appears alongside Mulaney, Kachina and Kenich in the trailer dressed in neon colors, showing off their different abilities and methods of transportation.
Natlan opens its doors on August 28 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, as well as mobile and PC platforms.
