Google Drive for iOS users can now find familiar drop-down menus for file type, owner, and recently modified searches. Unfortunately, this function does not work on Android yet.
On the Google front, Workspace updates Posted in blog post Based on the information read, drop-down menus appear before and after a search, and relevant filter views appear even as users type.
According to the company, the update is available to individual customers and subscribers of Google Workspace, as well as those who have a personal Google account using the iOS operating system. This feature hasn't been rolled out to Android users yet, but Google says it will do so soon.
The new search update makes it easier and more manageable to find and browse files when you don't know exactly where to find them.
