The direct competitor of the Apple Watch is trying to beat its style in the first place.
After many years of rumors, Google’s first in-house developed smartwatch is finally official. With the Pixel Watch model, which aims to be a direct competitor to the Apple Watch, Google is basically trying to serve those who want a stylish watch, it looks modern with its round screen, and easy replacement of straps allows those who care a lot about their appearance to switch between pieces that suit their style or occasion. Better.
In terms of functionality, it’s basically a typical WearOS 3.5 smartwatch, and the only plus in this area is that it’s compatible with Google’s FitBit mobile app, making it easy to review and use data related to sports, vital signs, and sleep.
The Pixel Watch also offers an emergency SOS functionality, and fall detection will only be available in an upcoming software update next year.
Google Pixel Watch, advertised with an alarming “24-hour” battery life, will be officially available in nine countries (Australia, UK, France, Ireland, Japan, Canada, Germany, Taiwan, USA) from October 13th. The Wi-Fi version costs 379 euros, while for the version with a built-in 4G / LTE modem you will have to pay 429 euros, we are talking about 161 thousand 182 thousand forints.
