One country celebrated it Giorgi Korda His 85th birthday was on 11 May, on the occasion of a large-scale jubilee concert entitled Korda 85 – Youth and Folly held at the Papp László Budapest Sports Arena. The owner of the party and his wife, Clary Balazs They had a huge party on stage. The singing couple also told story.hu how they prepared for the production and what was the first thing they did after the concert. “The weight of the performance had been weighing on us for months, as it was very stressful for all of us to organize such a huge concert. We rearranged all the songs, made a new record out of them, which had to be sung again, and in the meantime… We also paid a lot of attention to visuals and our appearance. The last half of the year was not about rest – says György Korda with a laugh, who is of course also talking about Clarica. – It's not enough that my poor friend is always by my side and takes care of me, he even changed his clothes four times during the party. “But it was worth it, because he painted so wonderfully in Kirini Viraj’s creations,” says the 85-year-old singer, who himself feels decades younger on the scene.
By the way, visiting the huge theater was worth the stroll. “I could have asked for a taxi, and the stage was very big. Even by car, it was tiring to cover several kilometers as we moved on stage – adds the singer, who also revealed what was the most touching thing for him. “After my song Gyöngéden ööllej, which reflects the classic song True story by Gyorgy Korda, the audience began with a continuous storm of applause.”
Klárika became emotional several times on stage. “For me, one of the most defining moments of the evening was when we received the Hungaroton Lifetime Achievement Award, and by the way, I really enjoyed everything from the preparation to the last minute. Although it is true that we have a very tiring period ahead of us, I will never forget this evening and the love Which we received from our fans. It was really nice when we came home at 4 a.m. and finally hugged Gyuri, but now I feel like we deserve a little rest, says the singer, who hopes that her husband's 90th birthday will also be celebrated in this way with a large-scale concert. – We hope that will be the case! I would like to take care of him for a long time, because I have a big role in his good health. A lot of attention, attention, love, humor and a lot of talk have a beneficial effect on the human body and soul. We belong to Gyuri forever!
