The University of Debrecen was represented by 22 young people in the OTDK’s 35th Mathematical Sciences Department. The students performed excellently well, directing the largest Hungarian universities behind them, and with their academic work they attained the most professional recognition, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. In addition, they were awarded several special prizes for their readiness and thorough research.
Laszlo Baloge, director of the Sports Science Coordination Institute at the University of Debrecen, inquires at Hirek.unideb.hu He said, Systematic work and construction going on for years has borne fruit.
This success is partly due to the fact that many of the University of Debrecen’s colleges and institutes conduct high-quality sports-related research. I would like to highlight, for example, the GTK Sports Management Department, as well as the MSc Sports Research. The other factor is that the scholarship system for sports researchers unique at the national level may have been established three years ago, and the research back then is starting to bear fruit now. Winners and winners participated in this program. The third component is the only accredited and qualified College of Mathematical Sciences in the country, which is Nirkus Istvan Vocational College. The director of the institute emphasized that the research work in recent years, thanks to both supervisors and lecturers, has led to amazing results.
László Balogh hopes that more students will be interested in sports science research upon seeing this success.
Between 6 and 9 April, a total of 153 lectures were given in seventeen departments in the 35th Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences OTDK organized by the School of Teacher Education of Szeged University.
