A member of the British curling team was taken to hospital, David MelroseAfter falling out of his wheelchair in a game against Canada in Wednesday’s Paralympia game.
The ESPN As you know, the 56-year-old athlete reached for a slip stick when he flipped, fell on his shoulder and was injured after a fall. The match was stopped during his treatment and then he was taken to the hospital.

The British Paralympic team wrote on Twitter: “She is conscious and the British team nurse, nurse and physiologist have taken her to hospital.”

Canada won the match 6-3, so the Brits, having won three times and four defeats, will have to win their remaining matches to keep fate in their own hands and advance to the semi-finals.
