The biggest surprise to BlizzCon was the announcement of a remastered version of Diablo 2, which wasn’t a big surprise because we had been waiting for it for so long and because the title had leaked before the opening. And not only did Dio 2 appear as Resurrected on BlizzCon Online, but also in Diablo 4 in the form of a new character class, which will be Rogue.
They presented the familiar character category in the form of a cinematic preview and a very impressive gameplay, reminiscent of part Amazon and part Assassin (of course, you could also consider Dio 3 Demon Hunter). The former actually appeared in the base game Diablo 2, and the latter in the add-on game Lord of Destruction, but the crooks in Act I, the camp, also had our assistants, and we could even hire one to shredder to support us, at least until Andarel, to our first boss.
Blizzard promises to customize the Rogue to our liking, which means it can be transformed into a hunter, but also a professional sniper. If you watch the preview below, you can see your skills in battle.
Diablo 4 will be released on PC and console at some point, and Category 5 has yet to be announced.
