The Grammy Award-winning singer was accused in 2019 of not paying taxes on her foreign income between 2012 and 2014, even though she was already living in Spain. Shakira, who has declared her innocence all along, paid the required amount and three million euros (about 1.2 billion Hungarian forints) to the Spanish budget in interest.
