Here’s the revamped Nissan Leaf

Starting in April 2022, Nissan will present its famous pure electric car in Europe with a new look. No drastic changes were made, with the revamped LEAF receiving only minor improvements to faithfully reflect the new brand identity, which also accompanies the company’s aggressive electric offensive planned for the second half of the year.

The most interesting novelties are the new optional 16- and 17-inch wheels that are partially painted black, but the Japanese also took two new colors from the Qashqai and Ariya panels, Universal Blue and Magnetic Blue. In addition, the new logo of the brand has been added to the wheels, nose and back of the “Leaf”.

The powertrain has not changed, and since its launch the electric car, which has sold more than 577,000 copies, has continued to be sold with two batteries, so anyone who chooses the LEAF e+ version can travel up to 385 kilometers according to the WLTP standard.

Thanks to ProPILOT technology, the car is able to stop, start and maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front, while the innovative electronic pedal allows you to accelerate, decelerate and come to a complete stop with one pedal. In addition to integrating Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for smartphones into NissanConnect’s onboard system, the LEAF 2022 also offers a range of infotainment features to its customers, as well as remote climate control and the use of Amazon Alexa for convenience.
