On Wednesday, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Gjöngius-Domoszlów State Farm, the commemorative plaque placed by the Gjöngius Municipality was inaugurated at the entrance to the Farmijhas Square in the center of the former state farm. Gjöngius-Domoszlói State Farm, founded on 1 November 1949, has contributed to the development of Gjöngius and its surroundings, to the growth of its local and international reputation, as well as to the dynamic development of the Hungarian agricultural and food economy. “And the positive results achieved in the world,” said Tamas Pefko, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Gyeongyo Municipality, in his introduction to the Director of Communications. He added that the workers and managers involved in carrying out the exemplary activities of the Gyongios-Domoszluy State Farm deserve to be known to future generations and their memory cherished.

The initiator of the memorial plaque, local historian Laszlo Penzis, reminded in his greeting that the preservation of the memory of the country's economy has already begun.

– His story was compiled, and a discussion on the topic was held with a presentation at a local history workshop event. Those interested can learn about the life stories of director János Priivara and other economic workers of the country. The materials completed so far can also be read on the Gyeongju Local Historical Landmarks Facebook page. Laszlo Penzis said today's inauguration of the memorial plaque continues the series.

The local historian summarized, among many other things, the State Farm's excellent results in horse breeding and the competitive sport of toothed driving – among others, five-time world champion and six-time European champion György Pardos, the hereditary champion of toothed driving. The driver, who was an employee at the farm, participated in the event. It was also said that the growth of domestic consumption and export depends on the spread of the best grape varieties and the production of high-quality wine in the Matra wine region.

The memorial plaque was also crowned by former employees of Gyeongyo Municipality and the state economy.
