The game, which uses Unreal Engine 5, will be available soon from DarkPhobia Games, but the studio isn't a huge team, but regardless, it could turn out to be a fair horror experience.
Almost exactly last year. DarkPhobia Games’ Graveyard Shift was released eight months ago. The game was worked on by a concept artist (TeaserPlay) and his two-person studio (!), and their next project, Homeless, is moving towards the finish line with a similar team. It’s a horror game set in 1990s New York, starring Albert, a security guard who wanders the subway tunnels and runs into a very evil character. You have to investigate, you have to solve tasks, and sometimes you have to use a firearm…
With lines of communication cut, we have fallen into the trap of a carnivorous predator. We must navigate the streets and subways of New York, uncover the Vulture's dark past, and stop it before it devours us. The gameplay emphasizes the player's sense of responsibility as a security guard. The purpose of the course design is to make the player feel like a real security guard. We have to check security cameras, patrol the area and investigate suspicious activities…just like a real security guard. We have already found out the system requirements of the game:
Minimum system requirements:
- 64-bit operating system and processor required
- OS: Windows 10 x64/11 (version number not mentioned)
- Processor: Intel Core i5-3470/AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- Memory: 6GB RAM
- Video Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970/AMD Radeon R9 280
- DirectX: DX12
- Free storage space: 8 GB
Recommended system requirements:
- 64-bit operating system and processor required
- Operating System: Windows 10 x64/11 (version number not mentioned)
- Processor: Intel Core i7-3770/AMD FX-9590
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Video Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660/AMD Radeon RX 580
- DirectX: DX12
- Free storage space: 8 GB
It's very friendly, so you probably won't have to open the piggy bank to get new parts. Homeless is being produced for PC, its release date is unknown, but if the system requirements are indeed announced, it will likely appear on Steam this year.
