Although according to preliminary information, we still have to wait months for the arrival of the Honor Magic 7 series, news about the smartphone's features has already started to spread. According to one of the most interesting rumors, the Honor Magic 7 Pro may debut with a 200MP telephoto camera.
If you want a high-resolution periscope telephoto camera on the back of a smartphone, the Vivo X100 Ultra with a 200MP imager, or the Honor Magic 6 Pro, which has a 180MP telephoto lens with an OmniVision sensor, might be a more obvious choice.
He is very familiar with Huawei and Honor, @rodent950 A leaker named “Honor Magic 7 Pro” claims that the resolution of the periscope zoom module will be increased, and like Vivo, a 200MP sensor will be integrated into the device, to be precise, the ISOCELL HP3 module produced by Samsung.
This isn't the same sensor as the X100 Ultra, it's the ISOCELL HP9, and the HP3 is an earlier version of it. At the same time, the two sensors differ slightly in the most important aspects, namely the pixel size remains 1/1.4 inch or 0.56 microns.
The Honor Magic 7's primary camera is expected to feature a 1-inch OmniVision OV50K sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels. The ultra-wide-angle module could be based on the OmniVision OV50H sensor, which will also have a resolution of 50 megapixels.
It is no surprise that the smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, covered by a tandem OLED display. The power source can be provided by a battery with a capacity of at least 6000 mAh.
In fact, it's not yet known which Magic model the leakster is referring to, at least in terms of display, since the tandem OLED is currently only found on the Magic 6 RSR model. The Magic 6 Pro doesn't get one, but that could change with Honor's next flagships. The Honor Magic 7 could debut in China in December 2024, while the Magic 7 Pro could hit international territories in 2025 at the earliest.
