Huawei has collected a toxic book reader

Huawei has collected a toxic book reader

The MatePad Paper app is one of the most advanced, if not the most advanced, book readers, but it is unlikely to be a hit with €500.

Huawei is also doing a real dump for this year’s MWC, of course, because of the sanctions, mobile phones do not dominate the offers of the Chinese manufacturer. The most interesting new features include the MatePad Paper e-book reader.

This is the first E Ink screen member in the series, designed to read and take notes. The 10.3-inch E Ink panel has been cleverly updated, so it can be used as a tablet. The screen is easy to read even in direct sunlight, with a glare-free coating, and the 32-level illumination helps you read in dark environments.

The product offers a much larger screen than e-readers, so it can accommodate more text. Thanks to Intelligent Photo Refresh, it’s also possible to play videos and browse the web faster than the E Ink has so far.

The 4096-level M Pencil is also supported, and writing and drawing is more natural on the screen due to PMMA. The product runs on HarmonyOS 2.0, has 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, Wi-Fi 6+, and a fingerprint reader. Operating time can be up to 4 weeks. However, the 360-gram product costs 499 euros (which is why Folio Cover and M Pencil are included).
