Peter Szijjarto reported that the evacuation flight sent by Slovakia, carrying 9 Hungarian citizens and a member of a Lebanese family, left Lebanese airspace in the morning.
The plane landed first in Cyprus and then in Bratislava during these minutes, and now everyone is safe
– books.
Earlier, at the beginning of August, we had already removed the Hungarians from the region, thanks to which our compatriots who wanted to come from Lebanon were able to leave the country on board the National Defense plane.
– Peter Szijjarto reminded, then added
Given the escalation of the situation in the Middle East, we once again offered our assistance to Hungarians residing in Lebanon. A total of 10 of our compatriots came forward to this invitation, so we agreed with our Slovak friends to provide seats for the Hungarians on the relief trip they planned to launch.
Subsequently, Peter Szijjártó also said that the Slovaks had brought the Hungarians, whose evacuation had been coordinated by the Hungarian Representation in Beirut, and that Hungarian consuls were waiting for the returnees in both Larnaca and Bratislava.
Today's operation was successful, but unfortunately the situation is getting worse in the Middle East, so I strongly request all Hungarian citizens to avoid this region as much as possible during their trips in the coming period.
