Hungary was damaged by Hungary in the list of international transparency of corruption, leaving the most member state of the European Union – writing – HVG. According to a survey conducted by Transparency International 2024, Hungary is the most spoil in the European Union in the third year.
On a scale from 0 to 100, where 100 points will be granted completely clean countries, Zero is completely corrupt, and Hungary scored 41 points, thus scoring one point in one year. However, Hungary received the lowest points from the European Union.
We were in the best place to date in 2007, then we were the tenth of the European Union member states today. As the paper writes, the slip has been going on since 2008, but it was really young for 2015.
Between 2010 and 2014, there was only little weakening, with warnings about the occupation of the state. But in 2012, when international transparency turned into its current methodology, we had 55 points, with only Estonia, Slovenia and Poland before Central Europe.
In the period 2015-2017, we signed great as it became clear that, as HVG writes, NER really uses its power to direct the sudden European Union funds to its people. At that time, we are worse than 3-3 points in three consecutive years, and we got competition with Romania for the title of the second most corrupt countries in the European Union with Romania before recent Bulgaria.
We first became the most corrupt countries in the European Union in 2020, with the same result as Romania and Bulgaria, then in 2022, 2023 and 2024. By the way, Denmark scored the best degree, and won 90 points.
