A man in India went to the doctor after his stomach problems worsened, but when he was X-rayed, workers couldn’t believe their eyes.

A man from Moga district in Punjab was admitted to hospital after suffering from continuous stomach pain for two years.

Doctors X-rayed 35-year-old Kuldeep Singh and couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw the results. “During the X-ray examination we found locks, chains, bolts, earphones and many other things in the stomach.” Ajmer Singh Kalra, Director of Moga Medicity Hospital, said:

It is said that Singh complained of abdominal pain several times before his discovery, but as the months passed, the pain increased, and eventually he developed a fever, so he decided to go to the hospital.

Doctors operated on 60 pieces of Singh’s stomach.

“Since the patient ate sharp objects, the stomach wall was completely scarred.” – Kalra said, adding that although the operation was successful, the patient has not yet overcome his ordeal and is currently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit.

After the operation, doctors diagnosed the man with pica syndrome. Pica syndrome is a specific eating disorder in which patients consume disgusting and inedible substances.
