The developers switched to turbo gear.
Call of Duty developers have been particularly active in recent days. In the middle of last week, the first major update for Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare II, Reloaded, arrived. Over the weekend, several small updates with bug fixes and changes were rolled out. It looks like the momentum isn’t running out just yet, as Infinity Ward tweeted Monday night that the battle royale title has been updated again. In the patch notes, some changes from the weekend are also included, and the list may include content that’s already been there for a few days.
Our update to #MWII And the # Warzone 2 It went live with many fixes and changes.

Let’s see what the update brings!
The list is as follows:
- Base gear now costs $2,500 in purchase stations instead of $5,000
- Champion’s Quest effects will no longer remain on screen after we confirm that we can no longer complete it in that match
- Now in DMZ mode, players can safely dispose of locked weapons (weapons that are not lost even if you die in the mode) when the contraband stock is full
- Heavy Helicopters has been temporarily removed from the battle royale mode
- The developers have doubled the number of purchase terminals
- Dropout Drops activate from the second turn, and were previously activated on the third turn
- The chance of multiple runs forming on the track has also been greatly reduced
It’s clear that in the final days before the festive season, the professionals at Infinity Ward and Raven are doing their best. Hopefully we’ll have more bug fixes by Friday, unfortunately we can still run into a lot of annoying bugs.
