13.08.2023 – There was no need to display the original Warzone ‘1’ end of lifecycle. Even before the name change to Warzone Pacific, users were going through the worst period in the game. There was no chance of winning without cheaters, bots, and Wallhacks in practically every match. You could argue that these were exaggerated statements from the players, but the developers also agreed with these assumptions.
That’s when the solution called Ricochet appeared. The Warzone developers have also prepared for the release of Warzone Pacific by implementing kernel-level cheat protection. This turned out to be a more complex solution than previous attempts. In the first period, cheaters radically disappeared from the servers. It could also be speculated that the other party would not give up the fight either. It would be hard to say that Warzone is cheat-free, but we get a significantly better gaming experience.

A few days ago, Warzone went official on its subreddit A rather specific post popped up. In this, the player wanted to ask the community if they were also experiencing an increase in the number of cheaters on the servers. Although the post was removed very quickly, it received over 100 comments. A large number of gamers have reported similar experiences, despite the fact that they are not 14,000 cheats fell victim to developers long ago. There was someone out of 3 Resurgence matches who got out of the hands of the proven cheat 3 times. This is not a very good percentage.
Meanwhile, Ricochet is also punished

- Blocking – They hide legitimate players who fight without cheating from cheaters
- Disarm – developers take weapons out of cheaters’ hands, so even with the hardest aim, they can no longer shoot
- Damage Shield – Players without cheats will be shot in vain by cheaters, and simply won’t be damaged by bullets
It is hoped that they will improve their efficiency in the next period, because it is not very good when players who play without cheating get such surprises, but also when the defense lets everyone pass.
