I wish Be careful with the report button!

I wish Be careful with the report button!

Activision professionals do not tolerate this either.

02.07.2023 – After a long absence, the Call of Duty developers spoke again a few days ago about cheats and fraud protection. We learned that after the three “blades” presented earlier, a fourth one has been added to the RICOCHET range. Cheats can now see “hallucinations”, which are projections of real players on the servers.

However, there is nothing to worry about. It can only be seen by external software, so players don’t have to fear shooting mirages. The developers also sprinkled in some additional information on how the protection works. Longtime players have the option to report cheaters manually via the in-game ‘Report’ interface. However, many people press this non-stop, no matter how they manage to die on the server.

Activision will no longer tolerate this, they can ban anyone for continuous reporting!

CharlieINTEL brought the change to the attention of Warzone and Modern Warfare II players. Players who:

  • They directly report players who are very likely not to cheat
  • They spam the report button like there’s no tomorrow, and they even tell others to do it

So it’s clear Activision doesn’t want cheaters or hardcore gamers in their Call of Duty titles. This is why being careful in the future never hurts, and by all means just report an opponent who could be bent on using fraud.
