There are many videos circulating on the internet which show that you can find a lot of toys and video game consoles in some trash cans. Will that be true?
07.07.2023 – I guess no one is surprised that all kinds of trends are circulating on TikTok. One of these types is the type of content where our heroes go to the trash can. Yes, some content producers and collectors sometimes go through the city trash to find something of value. And sometimes they succeed. If we take a good look at TikTok, it also turns out that video games and game consoles sometimes end up in the trash. Of course, there’s a good reason for that, but collectors and fans find valuable loot in cases like this.
Do people really throw away so many games and consoles?
The thing is, in the US, we can really imagine someone being used, no longer working, or hiding in the attic suddenly being dumped in the trash. The reason may be, for example, the removal of old things from the apartment, moving, or the fact that the machine is no longer working. However, to a repair shop or ardent fan, everything considered rubbish to others is worth its weight in gold.

By the way, collectors often visit the boxes around GameStop stores, because they always find something there. It seems that in some cases GameStop doesn’t believe in recycling either, and just throws away the unnecessary stuff.
