Potting soil also requires careful consideration, as not all plants have the same needs, so it doesn't matter what we choose. The soil can be acidic, i.e. type “A”, which for example like roses, heather and ferns, neutral, i.e. type “B”, which fuchsias or cacti love, or alkaline, i.e. “C”. Write down what else he likes: rosemary and geranium for example. If we do not plant in pots, but in pockets, we can choose the planting medium instead of soil.
Care and watering
Regular watering can be replaced by installing a drip system, but if you are shy about such a thing, you can continue to use the classic watering can. However, in such cases, we must be very careful, because too much or too little watering can be fatal. We can also use ground cover, which helps maintain soil moisture content and reduce water loss. In addition, it is important to remove wilted and dry leaves regularly to maintain the aesthetic appearance of the vertical garden.
Additional accessories
In addition to plants, we can liven up our vertical garden with various accessories: we can choose sculptures or even lights, which will make our small garden more cozy. In the latter case, make sure to choose bulbs suitable for outdoor use and place them in a way that they are not exposed to direct water during spraying.
