The PlayStation, Audeze, and Insomniac Games teams jointly created Pulse Explore and Elite. Now they talk about the process and the end result.

In August last year, news came that Sony had acquired Audeze, a company specializing in headphones for high-end gamers and audiophiles, with the unspoken intention, of course, that the PlayStation brand would also benefit from its expertise in the form of high-end hardware for PS5.

Since then, the company has also programmed its most powerful controller to service Sony's noise-emitting products, the Pulse Elite wireless headphones and the Pusle Explore wireless earbuds: PS5 owners can now use the equalizer, among other things.

Sony has listed innovations like planar magnetic transducers for next-gen gaming audio, PlayStation Link technology and AI-enhanced noise suppression among the strengths of its Pulse products, but we don't have to believe the press releases, which the manufacturers themselves are talking about What the Pulse can do Explore and Pulse Elite.

In the video below, representatives from the PlayStation development team, Audeze employees, and audio experts at Insomniac Games talk about what makes their wireless headsets and earbuds so special, as the devices were created as a joint effort between the three companies.

Pulse Explore is available now, and Pulse Elite will be released on February 21.
