The closing day of the National Short Track Championships in Debrecen was a huge success for the Vasarhelyi swimmers: Gal Oliver was the first to start as defending champion: he confidently won a third consecutive championship title in the 50m breaststroke with a time of 27.32. Panna Ugrai’s performance was impressive in this tournament, making a total of 17 starts in 7 individual events and 3 relay events. And of course, new championship titles came. On the last day, he defended the championship title with a personal best of 1:00.19 in the 100-meter medley race and achieved another victory. Half an hour later, he was already interested in the 100m butterfly final, where he became Hungarian champion again with a body length advantage and another personal record of 57.79. He managed to improve in all of his events, smashing his previous records by a total of 7.5 seconds. Pana won the 100 meter dash in OB:

  • 100 meter race,
  • 100 meter backstroke race,
  • 100m butterfly,
  • And the 100 meter medley race.

  • Oliver Gall: Hungarian champion – 50m breaststroke, sixth place – 100m breaststroke
  • Flora Molnar: bronze medal at the championships – 50m butterfly, 6th place – 50m breaststroke, 7th place – 50m breaststroke
  • Mixed relay 4 x 100 m – Championship silver medal (Kies, Horvath, Ogray, Molnar, Riegel Juhasz)
  • 4 x 100 m relay – bronze medal at the championship (Ugray, Molnar, Juhasz, Szentkiriszty, Morning Veselowski)
  • 4 x 100 m medley relay – 5th place (Ugray, Veselowski, Molnar, Juhasz, Sintkiriszty in the morning)
