Saturn covered the Sun, and the most magnificent planet became even more magnificent.
On September 15, 2006, the Cassini* spacecraft, studying Saturn and its surroundings, drifted into the planet’s 12-hour shadow, with the gas giant completely covering the sun and its dim light. And all this made it possible for previously invisible episodes to appear:

Something interesting about the recording: The image also shows Earth, floating in space as a blue dot on the left side next to and slightly above the edge of the bright main rings – if you can’t find it, here’s a little help.
Saturn’s ring system will soon disappear, but only for a short time. From here on Earth:
