Index – abroad – a habit known for decades that could have brought down the alleged Putin lookalike

New speculation has emerged that Vladimir Putin may use a body double. The Generall SZVR Telegram channel, whose director is said to be a former lieutenant in Russia’s foreign intelligence service, posted a video showing the Russian president “putting a watch on the wrong hand” as evidence.

Putin was seen at a meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects.

As he looks at his watch on his left arm, he is surprised to not find it there, so he quickly lowers his arm in confusion.

According to the channel, the strange thing is that the Russian president always wears his watch in his right hand, and therefore a seemingly harmless moment can turn into a revealer. The video in question can be viewed below:

It is no longer visible in the video above, but at the end of the meeting, according to SZVR, Putin allegedly took the watch from his right hand and tried to put it on his left hand, but was immediately told to put the watch on his left hand. Earbuds, breaks holding them with his left hand.

The real Putin will never look at the time on the hand in which he is not wearing a watch, and he will not be surprised that there is no watch in his left hand, because he always wears it on his right hand, and of course he will not even try to take the watch off his right hand to put it in his left hand.

Add General SZVR.

Serious disease and resourcefulness?

The channel has long claimed that Vladimir Putin suffers from an incurable disease and therefore needs to use a lookalike in his public appearances. Rumors about Putin’s illness first surfaced in May last year, when the Russian president was in a bad mood during a meeting with the president of Belarus. This was followed by a report by a group of Russian investigative journalists that Vladimir Putin had been visited by his cancer surgeon dozens of times over the course of four years.

In May last year, an anti-Russian channel on Telegram claimed that actors had been put on standby to stand in for Vladimir Putin if needed while the president underwent surgery. In February, secret documents proving Putin’s illness were revealed.

However, according to the Kremlin, the rumors that Vladimir Putin is ill have no basis in fact. Official Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated firmly that the Russian President’s health is fine.

At present, the factual basis of the information cannot be ascertained and therefore the reports cannot be treated as facts.
