“Yes, Viktor Orban, the United States of America is also fighting for its sovereignty, and although we (the United States and Hungary) do not have a common and long historical past, we have an equally strong desire for our sovereignty and freedoms.” wrote on X General Mike Flynn, adding that he views self-determination struggles from an American perspective.

He believes there is an epic struggle between Americanism and globalism.

I believe that the American people are the last bastion of all humanity, but your powerful voices speaking for freedom, national sovereignty and the protection of the Hungarian way of life matter – and they matter very much, and they have historical significance. Don’t let the leftist minority (in Europe and Hungary) impose and then destroy your great country like they are doing to the rest of Europe

Mike Flynn sent a message to Orban that capitalism, even with its inherent weaknesses, encourages innovation and creates opportunities, while socialism destroys societies. The retired general added, “Globalization is a worse form of socialism, while Americanism drives prosperity, but only if it is allowed to flourish.”

In the follow-up, he also shared two Winston Churchill quotes:

Be the Churchill of our time in Europe! They continue to stand against the flood of false hopes that globalists are trying to stifle their citizens. We in America, the tens of millions who still believe in our democratic experiment called the constitutional republic, will do the same.

“Never forget that there is a higher being who leads all of humanity,” he added.

“May God bless you and the citizens of Hungary, and may God continue to bless and protect America!” The message said.
