Philippine authorities are investigating an employee at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in the Philippines who allegedly stole $300 from a passenger, local media reported. CNN.
A security recording of the incident was also found, in which the airport employee tried to swallow the banknotes by stuffing them in his mouth and rinsing them with a little water.
Until the case is investigated, the woman who checked the luggage and her colleagues have been dismissed, and action has been taken against them.

According to the newspaper, the airport administration has already taken several measures to prevent theft at the security checkpoint. As a precaution, pockets have been removed from the uniforms of baggage screening staff.
