The new song was played at the opening ceremony of a new residential complex containing 10,000 apartments in a district of the capital, Pyongyang, on Tuesday. Kim Jong Un was greeted by a large crowd when he arrived at the event in an armored limousine he received as a gift from Russian President Vladimir Putin, the NK News news portal reported.

In the upbeat song, the singers chanted the North Korean leader's name, raised their fists in the air, and declared that under his leadership “a brighter future awaits us,” according to a report by Korea Central Television (KCTV).
The ceremony also included fireworks and an air show by the Korean People's Army Air Force, KCTV reported. The music video for the new song aired on KCTV on Wednesday.
In the video, soldiers and civilians are seen jumping up and down around Kim Jong Un while everyone gives a thumbs up excitedly, NK News reported.
The new homes in Hwaseong District are part of the Rimhong Street development project, which began in 2022 with the construction of 10,000 homes. The projects are said to be part of Kim Jong Un's promise in early 2021 to build 50,000 new apartments in the capital within five years with the help of the military.
