The tomb of Saint Nicholas, who died nearly 1,700 years ago, was found under a church in Turkey.
The tomb of Saint Nicholas was found under the Byzantine Church in Turkey. The church is built on the foundations of a former basilica, which was submerged in water in the Middle Ages due to the rising level of the Mediterranean Sea.
