Index – Economy – A new head of the Hotel Association has been appointed

The Hotel Association has elected a new president: Effective July 15, Csaba Baldauf, director of the Kolping Hotel Spa & Family Resort, current vice president of the Hungarian Hotel and Restaurant Association (MSZÉSZ), will assume the presidency of the association according to Wednesday’s decision. Csaba Baldauf will replace Tamás Flesch, who will continue to support the association as honorary president.

MSZÉSZ describes it in a statement sent to MTI: The President served as Vice President General assisted by Balázs Kovács, CEO of Danubius Hotels and member of the MSZÉSZ Executive Board. András Gendur, Co-Owner of La Perle Noire, and Head of MSZÉSZ Restaurants Division, will serve as Co-President of Gastronomy until December 31, 2022.

They added that the presidency will continue to initiate talks with decision makers on the challenges of the employment situation, support for hotels suffering from a lack of international demand, and the need for stimulus campaigns.
