Tamas Fleisch, president of the Hotel Association, told MTI on Friday that the Hungarian Hotel and Restaurant Association (MSZÉSZ) wants to make sure that people protected from the virus can go to restaurants and hotels.
It would be very positive that restaurants and hotels would start opening gradually. It can be seen that the Hungarians have already begun to reserve accommodation in local hotels for Easter, April and later periods.
Specialist added. According to his statement, they would be very happy if Orban’s government considered the possibility of vaccination and recovery from the disease, that is, protection from infection, and how to go to hotels and restaurants. It also stated that the working time at each location also depends on the number of employees retained.
Tamas Fleisch said that if they received a positive response to the opening, the president said that in most places it could happen within two weeks.
However, Tamás Flesch predicts a gradual opening of hotels in Hungary, because hotels in Budapest will definitely not be able to count on foreign guests, while rural residents will be able to start business and generate income if they can serve the protected guests.
