For 107 billion forints, László Szijj, Hódút, could build a section of the M44 motorway from Szentkirály to Kecskemét.

Hódút won several public deals in the past year, such as the 62-kilometre section of the M44 between Kondoros and Tiszakürt, and built it for 145 billion forints. The company received a total of 11 general financial orders last year.

The fact that they were also assigned to the next stage is now one From the EU Public Procurement Notice I showed. The 32.3-kilometre, two-lane 2×2 road will be built for HUF 3.3 billion per kilometer and will be connected to the section between Szentkirály-Lakitelek, which is still under construction. The M44 section between Lakitelek and Tiszakürt was recently delivered along with the Tisza Bridge in Tiszaug.

In addition to Hódút, DOMPER Limited Liability Company, Subterra – Raab Limited Liability Company, Pannon-Doprastav Limited Liability Company and STRABAG Építő Kft. Subcontractors are also used for the work.

It is a lesser known fact that a large part of the Hungarian road construction companies fell into foreign hands after the regime change (this is exactly the case). Lives in Hódmezővásárhely The beaver is the exception). We’ve written more about all this here.
