The company’s announcement reveals that the appointment of new directors and CEOs is linked to a recent corporate transformation. Shell wants to become a zero-emissions energy company by 2050, or even sooner, in line with a changing society.
As written, Sarolta Vecsey is set by Shell Hungary zRt. As Director of the Mobility Business Unit, he is responsible for the networks of filling stations in Hungary and Slovenia. He joined Shell in 1995 and previously held various regional and global roles.
Csaba Fekete is a new member of the Board of Directors, and also participated in the Hungarian management prior to the announcement. His responsibilities in the financial management of CEE include two other countries, Poland and Russia.
