Tamas Mintzer, Hungarian State Minister for Information and International Presentation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that the Foreign Ministry’s investment agency managed 422 projects last year, which led to a positive investment decision with a record value of 5.9 billion euros.
The consultant explained that the investments helped preserve 65,000 jobs and create 14,000 new jobs. KKM has 96 major investments and most of the jobs have been created through investments in South Korean companies. Most of the projects come from Germany, and the platform was also occupied by the United States.
According to Tamás Menczer, both Eastern and Western companies see Hungary as an important investment destination. He added that investments have also been received from Hungarian companies, of which 14 are in total.
All this shows that we will keep jobs and create new ones during the coronavirus pandemic, Hungary is moving forward, not backward.
Tamas Mentzer concluded his remarks.
