Lőrinc Mészáros and his family company won the public tender announced by the Hungarian Football Association (MLSZ) to build a Telk training center with a total bid of 2.3 billion HUF. Informed A24.

The newspaper knows that shortly before that, the company, which deals mainly with metalworking, also received a grant of 228 million HUF in a construction tender submitted by the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM).

This is Gerecse-Plusz Kft’s largest project during its time.

The Orbán government decided in December 2016 to purchase the land around the Telk Training Center. Ten hectares of football have been transferred to MLSZ Asset Management, two football fields, an athletics track, a goalkeeper training field, an outdoor fitness park, a communal street football tennis court, and a 12,000-square-meter water pool surrounded by a court. A running track and a small football field (22 x 42 meters) of artificial turf.
