Instead of Naples, one of Ryanair’s flights almost took Hungarian tourists to Bari, which is also in southern Italy.
Hungarian winemaker Attila Gönchol spoke to Repost about the case. As he said, he and his companions wanted to get on the plane to Naples, some passengers had already boarded the plane, but then a flight attendant told a passenger that the plane was heading to Bari. Meanwhile, Hungarian tourists heading for Bari were almost ferried to Naples.
Everyone was wondering, it was about 15-20 minutes before we were again directed to the terminal, and after another half hour to the gate from which a plane to Bari was originally supposed to leave. Somehow they changed the two machines or only the gates
announce to Ripost Winemaker.
Later, they boarded the plane that actually went to Naples, and the pilot even joked that anyone who didn’t want to go to Naples could tell the flight attendants.
I think if someone doesn’t look at one of the boarding passes, they will simply send passengers elsewhere and not even notice the change… I hope that the parcel will not reach Bari …
Attila Gönchül said.
According to the winemaker, he finally reached Naples successfully, albeit more than an hour late. Ripost has sent questions to Ryanair about the incident, but they have not yet received a response.
